MEMBERSHIP

1. Waiting list for playing members
Given the still high demand, the Board is forced to continue limiting the admission of new playing members and to first register applications on a waiting list.
The Balloting Committee accepts a certain number of applicants each year, chosen from the waiting list, to compensate for the departures of former playing members. The current number of adult playing members is thus maintained at around 950, all categories of players combined, only the number of young players, who enjoy a certain priority, can increase.

2. Playing and non-playing members
Applicants for the membership as players or non-players have to fill an application form countersigned by two sponsors, who must have been playing members of the Club for more than five years.
Members of the Board of Directors cannot sponsor applications.
The Balloting Committee comprising three members chosen from among the Directors, accepts or refuses applications. The decision, which does not need to be motivated, is final. A possible exclusion from the Club for serious grounds can be pronounced by the General Meeting, the interested party having been asked to provide explanations. The Balloting Committee comprising three members chosen from among the Directors, accepts or refuses applications. Sponsors are invited to introduce the newly admitted members to facilitate their integration into the Club life.
Junior and student playing members benefit from special conditions.
All playing members must pay the annual membership fee that corresponds to their category right from the beginning of their membership and within 15 days of the invoice.
We do not offer discounts for seasonal or weekly players.
Regardless of the date of admission, the annual membership fee is due immediately and in full, except when admission occurs after the first of September; in this case, the membership fee will be reduced for the current year.
The membership fee is not refunded either in full or in part to members who terminate their membership during the year, unless the Management and Finance Committee decides otherwise.
Playing members have to pay certain extra fees such as: third-party civil liability insurance premium, contribution to the sports fund, federal contribution and hole-in-one prize pool.
Our playing members benefit from an insurance coverage from the Club for their civil liability and any personal accident they may incur while practicing golf, together with the insurance subscribed by the Ministry of Physical Education and Sports for the civil liability and accident risk for licensees of the Luxembourg Golf Federation.
Locker room cabinets can be made available to playing member against payment.
Non-playing member applicants are accepted under the same conditions as playing members (application form, sponsorship by two playing members, acceptance by the Balloting Committee).
Non-playing members pay  a reduced annual membership fee. They are exempt from paying an entrance fee. They can take lessons, use the driving range (for a fee to be paid at the Secretariat or at the Bar) and use the putting green for free.
Non-playing members belonging to the same family enjoy special conditions.
